Amateur Tennis Player

"After only one on-court lesson with Jason, I had a much better understanding of how to get to the next level and I was hitting the ball better than I had ever imagined. Maybe even more importantly, he taught me how to help myself become a better tennis player through mental exercises and an increased awareness of key elements typically only exhibited in top professionals."

Although I attended junior tennis camps, played college tennis, and have spent years studying tennis technique through slow motion video of the top professionals to perfect my game, I continued to be frustrated because conventional tennis wisdom, technique, and instructions from teaching professionals failed to help me get to the “next level.”

When I saw Jason hitting with a Bethanie as he was warming her up for a match, I saw such fluidity and balance in his game. I hoped that if Jason could move and hit like that, maybe he could teach me how to do the same.

Since Jason was traveling and coaching on the pro tour, his instruction first came to me via email after he watched a video that I had sent to him. Immediately, I realized that Jason could see things that other people couldn’t. He was aware of things that you only see in a few of the top professional players, but most importantly, he knew how to teach it.
Along with long distance and on-court instruction, Jason called me on a regular basis to check on my progress and with an open-mind he wanted to know how effectively his methods were helping my game. He is always working on improving the ways he teaches and relates to his players.

Jason’s ability to see what is “really” happening on the tennis court from a mental, physical, and technical perspective allows him to help his players make tremendous leaps in progress. After only one on-court lesson with Jason, I had a much better understanding of how to get to the next level and I was hitting the ball better than I had ever imagined. Maybe even more importantly, he taught me how to help myself become a better tennis player through mental exercises and an increased awareness of key elements typically only exhibited in top professionals.

I’ve watched Jason analyze his pro players’ on-court performances and he always finds a very simple mental and/or physical adjustment resulting in huge improvements. Jason understands how the mind can help one’s tennis game in so many more ways than any tennis instruction, books, or videos. Jason relates his wisdom to your game in a way that anyone can understand, so an entirely new world of tennis understanding and accomplishment can be realized almost immediately.
